Paul Spencer, on behalf of Strawberry
Racing, received a 'Best Stand' award at the 2003 Autosport Show at the
National Exhibition Centre in January.
The team boss, however, was reluctant to take any of the praise arising
from the winning of the trophy, placing that responsibility directly with
his own crew. "They all came down in the week leading up to the first
day of the show, and I just said to them to do what they thought best.
They pulled out all the stops and made this stand into what it was, which
was more than enough to win a 'Stand Award'. They all worked really hard
for this and I am very grateful to all of them." |

Paul's partner Nicola joined him, after some cajoling, in
a celebratory photograph, complete with the Award from the Organisers,
leaving Paul to
conclude with the remark: "I really am chuffed to bits with
this!"
