The Strawberry racing team had an
excellent weekend to remember at Buckmore Park last Sunday in the Champion
of Champions event.

In the Mini Max class Connor Stephens took his Trulli kart to 2nd place in
the first final, ahead of James Colburn in 5th place, but it was in the
main final when Tom Ingram led Jack Harvey in a superb Strawberry 1-2
finish.

Adam Christodoulou continued with the Strawberry plans in Junior Max, when
he opened his score-card with 3rd place in the first final, before heading
Stefan Wilson in the main final in yet another 1-2 team finish. Daniel
Lloyd had enjoyed a good run to 5th place in the first race.

Senior Max? Who else but Michael Simpson with a solid return to his
winning ways, whilst Iain Inglis (Kosmic/Paul Carr Racing)
and James
Abraham (Strawberry), brought their mounts home in 3rd and 4th places respectively.
Richard Kent was on form in Super Libre with a competitive drive to 3rd
place in the first final, before improving by one place to the runner-up
step on the podium in the second race. Ben Palmer meanwhile had a couple
of steady runs in Formula Cadet, to finish in 5th and 4th places in the
two finals held in the afternoon.
It was a good weekend for the Strawberry crew and helped to draw the
season to a close, in readiness for the Winter Series over the next few
months.
