R L Race Team Press Release

R L Race Team are pleased to announce that from 1st November 2007, their original Rotax Team will be run solely using a TonyKart chassis. They will be working in conjunction with TonyKart’s UK Importer, Strawberry Racing.
R L Race Team Managing Director, Richard Lock commented, “this will be a very positive and long term relationship with TonyKart which will secure a greater level of support and will increase the future development of our drivers in all classes. We currently offer one of the most progressive Race Teams in the UK, a fact that was recognised by Paul Spencer (Strawberry Racing MD).”
The Team is based at the Ellough Park Race Circuit in Beccles, Suffolk, enabling them to offer a full support package in Sales, Testing and Racing. A new Team Race Truck has already been purchased and is currently being kitted out to a high standard, including a large awning. This will be ready for the launch on 1st November.
Race Team Manager, Steve Armstrong, will continue to lead the team to continued success, and with his previous experience using the TonyKart brand, results will sure to be seen straight away.
Paul Spencer of Strawberry racing commented; ”Having seen the overall improvement, both in the
company profile and race team, since Steve Armstrong became team manager, we felt that this was a great opportunity for us to join forces to enable us to promote TonyKart products and develop and test chassis.
