About TONYKART...
Tonykart was
founded in 1958 and was one of the first companies to see the potential of
bringing what was primarily an American sport, to Europe. Tonykart formed
a dedicated group of craftsmen to produce a top quality bespoke chassis
for the Italian market. In 1983 the company went to new management and
with lots of investment in research and development they went on to
produce a world class kart for export not just in Europe but world wide.

With Tonykarts forward thinking management the company went from strength
to strength. Investment in new technology was high on the list of
priorities. A state of the art, robotic welding machine meant that the
frame did not have to be turned or removed from the die plane. This meant
that the margin for error was kept to a minimum, maintaining a high level
of standardisation.

By providing a quality product, Tonykart are now represented in 60
countries worldwide. The British market proves to be one of the best with
Tonykart products being amongst the top sellers in the UK Karting sector.
OTK is a trademark for high quality kart components whose attention to
detail is second to non. Everything is available, from an axle to a grub
screw, a brake caliper to an o’ring. Tonykart also pride themselves in
producing a top quality clothing line which includes the new K-light race
suit.

The official Tonykart factory race team is based in Brescia, Italy. The
race team has produced many drivers that have gone on to feature in
International Motorsport. Jarno Trulli was an official Tonykart driver
winning European titles in FSA and the world title in FC in 1994 before
going on to race in F1. One of the biggest names in Formula One today, 5
times winner Michael Schumacher, drove with the Tonykart team, winning
them the Monaco cup in 1996. Michael is still known to drive a Tonykart
occasionally as in the ‘Ice Race’ in Madonna di Campiglio. Just for fun,
of course!

In total, Tonykart have won 15 world titles and 50 International titles.
The winning streak continues with Davide Fore taking the World Karting
Championship in 2004 and Marco Ardigo becoming European Champion 2005. To
top off 2005 Tonykart won the Team Championship at the World Karting
Finals in Braga, Portugal.
With continued investment and the dedication of experienced staff,
Tonykart hope to be leading in both the market place and on the kart
circuit for a long time to come...
