The first race back since the lockdown for Piers Henderson! Piers showed great determination over what turned out to be a difficult weekend for him. We couldn’t be more pleased with his commitment and effort to get faster and faster over the weekend. After many improvements, Piers’ final was cut short after an unfortunate collision on track resulted in a puncture. A strong weekend for @guy_cunnington52 ended with a brake issue in the Grand Prix Final. After a host of top 5 finishes and battling for the win in the heats and pre final, Guy had an issue with the brakes resulting in his retirement from the final. Storms to Podium in Senior Rotax. After Alex missed out on an entry for his usual class Senior X30, he elected to compete in the Senior Rotax class. Having not driven the class for over two years, his performance was outstanding. Taking top 5 positions in testing and the heats, fighting for the lead in the heats, he showed the competition that he had a serious chance at winning the GP final. After a messy pre final, Alex lined up P9 for the GP final. A storming drive through the pack saw Alex battling for the lead, eventually finishing P3 and taking a podium against the country’s best Rotax drivers, really showing how great his performance was! Jeff, Clarke, Walker, and Sofronea
All had a strong showing at Kartmasters. Qualifying started strongly for the OTK Cadet drivers

P 8 Clark
P22 Walker
After the heats, Jeff would start from 2nd, Sofronea 9th, Clark 10th, and Walker 22nd. After a tough race, Jeff came home 2nd, Clark had a great drive from 10th to 5th at the finish, Sofronea finished 9th on track, but was given a nose cone penalty resulting in him falling down the order to 18th. Walker would finish 25th.
The final was another hard fought race, Jeff finishing P4 just 0.26 from the win and 0.05 from the podium! Clark finished in P7 , Walker P19 and Sofronea P27 #otk #tonykart #otkcadet
